Is New Taylor Swift Music Coming Friday? This Fan Theory Is Very Convincing

Taylor Swift fans are convinced she’s sending messages about new music with her latest cryptic Instagram post.

The pop singer shared a photo of a trees against a turquoise sky full of fake stars, along with a caption fans believe may be saying more than it appears. Swift, 29, used seven palm tree emojis in the post, which fans think is a sign she’s working on her next album, which would be her seventh.

Not long after she shared the post, fans flocked to social media to share their excitement over the perceived announcement along with other theories about what it could all mean. Some suggested the number of stars — around 61 — could be indicative of when she plans to release the album. Others theorized that the message was in the trees, which could be a symbol of rebirth or resurrection.

“Crazy #TS7 Theory: So if there’s 60 stars as some have said, let’s say there’s about 60/61 There’s 61 days until April 26, FRIDAY, a SINGLE RELEASE day! Another connection is April 26 is Arbor Day, a connection to PALM TREES!?,” one fan wrote. “@taylorswift13 look what your [SIC] doing to us.”

Another speculated, “My theory: Okay so in this picture there are 4 palm trees on the left (4 country albums). There are two palm trees on the right (2 pop albums). There is one large palm tree in the middle. This represents her new album. It’s gonna be a diff genre than anything she’s ever done.”

This isn’t the first batch of TS7-based speculation. Fans have looked into everything the singer’s done as of late, including her The Little Mermaid-themed Halloween costume. Swift, for her part, has been very quiet about plans for a new album.

Fans will just have to keep an eye on her social media accounts for more clues — or a straight up announcement — from the musician.
