Since early November, we’ve been waiting with bated breath for the music music for Ariana Grande‘s chart-topping surprise single, “thank u, next.” Once we learned—thanks to a series of hints on her Instagram account—that the video would be themed around some of our favorite early 2000s comedies, our excitement was only amplified.

Finally, the music video for “thank u, next” is here… and it’s everything we could have hoped for.

For one, there are celebrity cameos galore: Kris Jenner (playing a mix between Ari’s real-life mom Joan Grande and Amy Poehler’s Mean Girls‘ “cool mom”), Jennifer Coolidge (playing her iconic manicurist character from Legally Blonde), Matt Bennett (Ari’s Victorious co-star) and Jonathan Bennett (Aaron Samuels from Mean Girls) are but a handful of the stars who appear in the colorful music video.

Aside from Mean Girls and Legally Blonde, other films referenced include Bring It On and 13 Going on 30. The video was directed by Grande’s longtime collaborator, Hannah Lux Davis.
